The Summit Planning Team warmly invites you to attend the Fifth Summit of the Global Alliance for Ministries & Departments of Peace - "Ubuntu in Action". Registrations are now open.
The 2011 Summit is being held in the beautiful city of Cape Town, South Africa. The dates of the Summit are: Sunday, 02 October 2011 to Thursday, 06 October 2011. Before the Summit, there will be a two day Pre-Summit Training - Storytelling for Peacebuilding - on Friday, 30 September 2011 and Saturday, 01 October 2011.
There are two methods registering. The first option is to register online at: http://www.mfp-dop.org/
We are working to get the online payment system approved by PayPal and will have that or something comparable on our website in the coming weeks. Until then, you can make payments directly to First National Bank of South Africa (complete details on the payment page).
Those who require financial assistance are welcomed to apply, using the Application for Financial Assistance Form attached. The Summit Planning Team will do our best to accommodate your needs, though we cannot guarantee that all who apply will receive scholarships. We encourage you to simultaneously begin your own fundraising efforts to ensure that you do attend. In order to secure your place at the Summit, please fill in both the Registration Form and the Financial Assistance Form.
